Organized Meal Planning Workshop

Meal Planning Workshop GraphicWhether your fridge is empty, you bought the groceries but they went bad before you made them into a meal, or you’re just stuck in a rut of the same food and want to mix it up, this workshop will help with all of the steps of meal planning and preparation including meal lists, recipes, menus, grocery shopping, and meal prep.
As with any household chore, meal prep can be challenging at many stages. We’ll address issues including 
  • Picky eaters in the family/having a hard time finding something that everyone likes
  • Finding time to prep meals
  • Creating 1-week, 2-week, or monthly menus so you can vary your meal choices
  • What to do if the minute you make a menu, you don’t want to eat what’s on it when you had it scheduled
  • Different meal prep strategies including staples, batch cooking, meal co-ops, and more.
  • Organized grocery shopping so you’re not making multiple trips to the store
  • and any challenges you bring to the workshop.

Strategies in this training will work for any dietary restrictions and number of people you’re cooking for.

2020 offers so many reasons to feel anxious and stressed. The pandemic, the upcoming election, protests, fires, and the question of whether it’s even safe to leave the house provide hit after hit to our sense of well-being and ability to stay centered and optimistic.
If you were stressed or anxious before 2020, your reserves are likely more depleted now than ever and your surge capacity may feel like it’s nearing its end.
Anxiety manifests in our bodies, in our thinking, our interactions with others, and our ability to function.
This workshop offers simple methods you can use right now:
  • Embodied practices for finding and relieving anxiety
  • Mindfulness techniques to identify anxiety triggers and interrupt catastrophic thinking
  • Happiness tools to increase well-being
  • Strategies for what to cut out, what to add in, and how to go about your day so you’re less anxious and stressed.
